The Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Full Stack Engineer to drive the growth and evolution of our platform. You will take ownership of complex technical challenges, lead key initiatives across back-end and front-end systems, and guide architectural decisions. As our team expands, you will mentor developers and play a central role in shaping our engineering culture and practices. Key Responsibilities:
- Application Development:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable web applications using PHP, Go, JavaScript/Type Script, VueJS, Laravel Framework, and SQL.
- Develop both front-end and back-end features with a focus on performance, reliability, and security.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
- Database & API Integration:
- Design and optimize relational database schemas (SQL).
- Build efficient APIs and integrations with third-party services.
- Ensure data integrity, scalability, and high availability across systems.
- Deploy and manage applications in cloud environments (AWS and Cloudflare).
- Participate in CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops processes.
- Help troubleshoot performance and operational issues.
- Security and Compliance:
- Implement application-level security best practices.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and data protection requirements.
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
- Work in an agile environment with product and design teams.
- Contribute ideas to improve systems, processes, and user experience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 3+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer or in a similar role.
- Experience with Laravel framework
- Experience with modern front-end framework (VueJS).
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Hands-on experience deploying applications in cloud platforms (AWS).
- Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD practices.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with caching systems (Redis, Memcached).
- Knowledge of monitoring/logging tools (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, or Data Dog).
- Experience working in agile development environments.
- Exposure to advertising technologies (e.g., DSPs, SSPs, Ad Servers, RTB, VAST/VPAID).
- Experience with mission-critical and large-scale systems.
This is a hybrid, full-time position reporting to the Vice President of Software Development. Candidates must be based in the New York Metropolitan area.
