Python Developers

Kimetrica, LLC () seeks experienced (5 years) Python Developers with a focus in FLASK / CKAN and/or with a focus in DJANGO to join a growing team. This is a direct hire opportunity with the opportunity to be located on the east coast of the United States; or if desired - either in Europe or Africa.

PYTHON DEVELOPER ( FLASK / CKAN )This position reports to our systems architect. To effectively develop Flask/Python code, you will need a strong awareness of best practice development including Agile methodologies, web application security, and scalability. You should strongly believe in software quality and ensure the highest quality by following and improving processes and standards, and using automated unit tests, continuous integration and similar tools.

We are looking for someone who is ambitious, focused and dedicated. Working remotely is likely (either within or outside of the United States) - and excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English are essential.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field7 years of software development experience5 years of software development experience using Python and Flask Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

A passion for programming and software engineering

Preferred Qualifications (you will stand out if you have one or more of the following):

• Production CKAN experience
• Flask-App Builder
• Sql Alchemy

PYTHON DEVELOPER DJANGOWe also need a full-time, Python Developer with 5 years’ experience in DJANGO.

• 7 years of software development experience
• 5 years of software development experience using Python and Django (including 1.11+)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• A passion for programming and software engineering

• Modern Front End development experience using React and Webpack
• D3.js or similar
• GIS/PostGIS/Open Layers/Leaflet
• Celery
• Amazon Web Services Docker
