Recreation Leader-Full Time- Sunday-Wednesday 8:00am-6:30pm

Northeast Center for Rehabilitation and Brain Injury is a one-of-a-kind rehabilitation and community re-entry facility in Lake Katrine, NY (near Kingston, NY), specializing in:

We are currently looking for a Recreation Leader-Full Time, Recreation Leader-Full Time- Sunday-Wednesday 8:30am-7:00pm, 40 hours per week

The primary purpose of your position is to develop and implement innovative programs for a comprehensive team driven rehabilitation program with a strong community reentry emphasis, and in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations, and as may be directed by the administrator, to assure that the highest degree of quality resident care can be maintained at all times.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitates recreation programs as directed.
• Takes program attendance and gives data to the Director of Recreation.
• Visits residents one on one. Assists with maintaining clean and organized activities areas.
• Performs any other duties as required by the Director of Recreation
• Documenation for client progress.

Requirements:

• 4 years experience as an Art and Recreation leader in a hospital
• skilled nursing facility, or other related medical facility is preferred
• Relates well to brain injured individuals.
• Ability to work independently.
