Responsibilities
The Clinical Coordinator is responsible for the supervision and direct oversight of a clinical services case management team. This position has significant decision making, supervisory, administrative, program management and service delivery responsibilities. This person will be expected to participate in and contribute to a program culture that is client-centered, outcome-oriented and dedicated to continuous quality improvement.
- Supervising four case managers
- Carrying a case load of 8 consumers
- Conduct supervision and provide professional development opportunities.
- Audit & review case files as needed.
- Organize and Plan workshops, activities, and special events for consumers.
- In the absence of the Program Director, we oversee the program operations.
- Hire, train, and evaluate all the case managers.
- Ensure that the case management team completes thorough and accurate case files for every consumer on their case load.
- Prepare narrative and statistical program reports.
- Interview and follow up on prospective candidates to fill units.
- Work in collaboration with the nurse to ensure all clients receive appropriate treatment plans.
- Other duties as assigned by the Program Director or the Deputy Executive Director of Community & Economic Empowerment
Master’s degree preferred in social work, Psychology, Sociology, or Human Services or related field and demonstrated experience working with homeless population, and a minimum of two years’ experience supervising a case management team. Previous work experience with the Department of Homeless Services or the Department of Mental Hygiene preferred. Qualified candidates must have a strong understanding of the developmental needs of adults, sensitivity to ethnic and cultural diversity, and knowledge of and commitment to working from a strength-based perspective.
Applicant must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong computer skills. Bi-lingual (Spanish) a plus
$65,000 - $70,000
ScheduleMonday-Friday 9am-5pm
