Per Diem Counselor – Full‑Time/Part‑Time Per Diem

Bronx, NY

All shifts open – days, evenings, weekends and overnight.

Concern Housing is seeking Per Diem Counselors to join our growing agency and provide relief coverage at our Bronx locations. Per Diem allows you to work around your schedule while you gain experience and knowledge in the non‑profit, social work field. Great opportunity for professional development, for college students, or individuals looking for a supplemental income with flexible hours.

• Provide site or program coverage as needed.
• Monitor medications as needed and required.
• Document client contact, collateral contracts and any other relevant information.
• Assist clients with household/apartment responsibilities as needed.
• Provide transportation in agency vehicles for clients as needed.
• Perform other tasks as needed and assigned by supervisor.
• Remain current with all agency required compliance documents and trainings.

Per Diem Counselors are required to have a High School Diploma or equivalent and some experience in a similar setting or education in the field of Psychology, Social Work, Rehabilitation Counseling or related field.

Concern Housing offers an agency‑sponsored retirement plan and employee‑sponsored 403(b) retirement plan for part‑time employees. $20/hr.
