Job Overview

Location: Yorktown Heights and surrounding areas (EI and/or Homecare)

Status: Fee for Service, Full‑Time potential

Hours: During and after school

Compensation:

• Fee for Service: $86‑$120/hour (range based on service, experience, and certification)

This position may be full‑time or fee‑for‑service depending on current caseload, as discussed during the interview.

• Design and implement creative individual and/or group therapeutic interventions for your caseload.
• Administer and write up speech and language evaluations.
• Provide ongoing communication with supervisors and coordinators regarding case management.
• Maintain professionalism with families, school teams, and other professionals.
• Maintain accurate and timely attendance and billing logs.
• Create and maintain a schedule with assigned families/school personnel.
• Collect data on each IFSP/IEP goal and report progress quarterly.
• Provide input and attend/teleconference initial CPSE/CSE meetings and/or annual reviews.
• Perform comprehensive evaluations in clinic, home, and/or preschool settings.
• Write detailed evaluation reports demonstrating child’s abilities and areas of difficulty.
• Work collaboratively with parents, teachers, and evaluation team.
• Develop appropriate functional goals using IEP directives.

Background:

• AHSA Certification (CCC‑SLP).
• Clinical fellows must hold NYSED TSSLD/TSHH Certification (or be pending after current semester).
• Minimum of one year experience in a setting focusing on supporting children and families.
• Bilingual language skills a plus.
