Job Overview
Location: Yorktown Heights and surrounding areas (EI and/or Homecare)
Status: Fee for Service, Full‑Time potential
Hours: During and after school
Compensation:
- Fee for Service: $86‑$120/hour (range based on service, experience, and certification)
This position may be full‑time or fee‑for‑service depending on current caseload, as discussed during the interview.

* Sick and Safe Leave:

- Design and implement creative individual and/or group therapeutic interventions for your caseload.
- Administer and write up speech and language evaluations.
- Provide ongoing communication with supervisors and coordinators regarding case management.
- Maintain professionalism with families, school teams, and other professionals.
- Maintain accurate and timely attendance and billing logs.
- Create and maintain a schedule with assigned families/school personnel.
- Collect data on each IFSP/IEP goal and report progress quarterly.
- Provide input and attend/teleconference initial CPSE/CSE meetings and/or annual reviews.
- Perform comprehensive evaluations in clinic, home, and/or preschool settings.
- Write detailed evaluation reports demonstrating child’s abilities and areas of difficulty.
- Work collaboratively with parents, teachers, and evaluation team.
- Develop appropriate functional goals using IEP directives.

Background:
- AHSA Certification (CCC‑SLP).
- Clinical fellows must hold NYSED TSSLD/TSHH Certification (or be pending after current semester).
- Minimum of one year experience in a setting focusing on supporting children and families.
- Bilingual language skills a plus.
