We have an incredible opportunity for a dynamic, energetic, and eager Maintenance Supervisor (Overnight) in New York!

Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate all electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, and general construction maintenance activities to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous facility operations.
- Plan, assign, and verify completion of routine, preventive, and emergency maintenance for facilities, commercial kitchen equipment, refrigeration systems, walk‑in coolers/freezers, ice machines, utilities, and life safety systems.
- Respond immediately to emergency maintenance issues to minimize operational downtime and ensure continuity of catering and production operations.
- Monitor, inspect, test, and maintain building systems, including HVAC, fire alarm systems, CCTV, emergency power, and other safety and security systems.
- Supervise union and non‑union maintenance staff in accordance with company policies, productivity standards, and safety requirements.
- Develop, implement, and maintain preventive maintenance programs and schedules for all major building systems and equipment.
- Train and coach maintenance staff on proper maintenance procedures, troubleshooting techniques, emergency response, accident prevention, and safe work practices.
- Perform hands‑on troubleshooting and assist with repairs as needed to support operations.
- Recommend corrective actions, equipment upgrades, and facility improvement initiatives to enhance reliability, safety, and efficiency.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and emergency service providers, including off‑hours support, to ensure timely execution of maintenance work.
- Order materials, tools, and replacement parts in collaboration with purchasing to meet maintenance timelines and operational needs.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, service records, incident reports, inspection documentation, and emergency response records.
- Communicate shift status, completed work, and outstanding maintenance issues to day‑shift management to ensure smooth operational handovers.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, NYC Building Code, Fire Code, Health Department requirements, and other applicable regulatory standards.
- Coordinate and support regulatory inspections, audits, permits, licenses, and corrective action plans related to safety, food safety, and facilities compliance.
- Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience in commercial kitchens, food production, industrial, or large‑scale facility environments.
- Diploma in Engineering preferred.
- Hands‑on experience with industrial and commercial systems, including HVAC, refrigeration, industrial kitchen equipment, and general maintenance engineering.
- Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) Systems.
- Proficient understanding of NYC Building Code, Fire Code, and Health Department regulations.
- Extensive knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, and building systems.
- Ability to analyze system performance, utility usage trends, and energy consumption forecasts.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- FDNY certifications or relevant NYC licenses preferred.
- EPA certification for refrigeration preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven leadership ability with a hands‑on, team‑oriented approach, and can‑do attitude.
- Strong problem‑solving mindset with attention to detail and a data‑driven approach.
- Calm and effective decision‑making in emergency situations.
