HVAC Maintenance Technician

The HVAC Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance, inspections, seasonal tune-ups on residential heating and cooling systems. The goal is to ensure systems are operating efficiently, safely, and reliably while providing excellent customer service.

• Perform seasonal maintenance and tune-ups on HVAC systems, including cleaning, inspecting, and testing equipment.
• Diagnose system issues and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems.
• Check system components such as thermostats, electrical connections, condensate drains, motors, filters, and refrigerant levels.
• Identify potential issues and recommend repairs or replacements when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, inspections, and customer interactions.
• Follow company safety procedures and adhere to all local, state, and federal HVAC codes.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers about findings, recommendations, and system performance.
• Ensure all tools, equipment, and vehicles are properly maintained and organized.
• Assist other team members and departments as needed to support daily operations.

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in HVAC maintenance or related field.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and maintenance procedures.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a variety of environments (indoor/outdoor, attics, crawl spaces)
