Maintenance Worker

We are looking for a Maintenance Worker to perform upkeep tasks such as repairs and cleaning. The role involves applying basic fixes to equipment and building systems to ensure our Maintenance Department operates efficiently.

• Ability to perform preventive building engineering maintenance duties. Perform routine plumbing repairs.
• Perform routine electrical repairs & maintenance on Fire Alarm System, Boiler, and other building equipment.
• Repair and replace building equipment. Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, locks, plaster, elevator control, and appliances.
• Inspect the building daily and develop a preventative maintenance routine.
• Repair and install toilets, sinks/faucets, and other residential appliances.
• Trace leaks and remove any water damage to surfaces, plaster/sheetrock, and paint.
• Install/repair light fixtures, switches, and outlets.
• Fix locks/doorknobs and replace when needed.
• Remove snow and keep sidewalks clean and safe during inclement weather.
• Follow all established safety procedures and precautions when performing maintenance services.
• Wear and/or use safety equipment and supplies when lifting or moving heavy objects.
• Keep your work area(s) free of hazardous conditions, i.e., grease/oil spills, excess supplies, equipment, etc., to assure that all established safety rules/ regulations are followed at all times.
