We are seeking an experienced Fiber / Conduit Technician to perform the installation, splicing, testing, and troubleshooting of fiber optic systems as well as the installation of conduit infrastructure and pathway systems in the field. This role requires hands‑on expertise in fiber splicing and testing, along with strong experience in conduit bending, installation, and pathway layout in commercial and industrial environments.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working on active construction sites and retrofit projects, collaborating with technicians, lead techs, electricians, and project managers to deliver clean, code‑compliant, and professional installations. This position supports projects throughout NYC, Long Island, and New Jersey and reflects our commitment to high‑quality structured cabling and fiber infrastructure work.

• Perform fusion splicing and at least one of the following:
• Air Blown / Jetting fiber
• Mechanical (Uni Cam) terminations
• Ribbon fiber splicing
• Pull, route, and secure fiber optic and low‑voltage cabling per project specifications
• Test and troubleshoot fiber using industry‑standard tools (OTDR, power meter, light source)
• Install fiber enclosures, LIUs, patch panels, and related hardware
• Troubleshoot and repair damaged or degraded fiber systems

• Install EMT, RMC, IMC, and PVC conduit in accordance with NEC and project drawings
• Measure, cut, thread, and bend conduit using hand and hydraulic benders
• Install cable tray, J‑hooks, innerduct, and other pathway support systems
• Core drill and sleeve penetrations as required
• Read and interpret blueprints, riser diagrams, and pathway layouts
• Coordinate conduit pathways with other trades on active construction sites

• Submit daily field reports outlining work completed and project status
• Interface professionally with customers and general contractors on job sites
• Maintain a clean, organized job site daily and upon completion
• Follow all safety procedures, NYC DOB requirements, and industry best practices

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on fiber installation experience
• Proven conduit installation experience in commercial/industrial environments
