About the Role

The Mechatronics and Robotics Apprenticeship programoffersan extensivepaid training in the Maintenance Technical field.

Participants seeking an exciting career as a Maintenance Technician gainvaluable skills through a combination of 9 weeks of classroominstruction and on-the-job learning that prepares them to join our account for a world-class leader.

What You'll Do

+ Promote a safe     working environment by following all safety procedures.

+ Solve electrical and     mechanical issues related to all material handling equipment, including     belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, and more.

+ Install, maintain,     and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.

+ Complete and properly     document preventative maintenance routines.

+ Track and store     department inventory.

+ Cultivate positive     working relationships with our Client and Operations Maintenance team     members.

+ Perform other     job-related duties as needed or assigned.

What You'll Need

+ Applicants must be currently authorized to work in United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

+ High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

+ Ability to attend a9-week in person paid training at a designated training provider.

+ Proficiency using computers and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).

+ Physical requirements including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs / ladders and ability to lift / carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.

Preferred Qualifications

+ Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages.

+ Experience using powered or non-powered hand tools.
