purpose of the job:

to assist with the installation of cctvs, cameras, alarms, surveillance networks across the refineries in order to protect the assets of the company.

minimum qualifications and requirements:

• minimum of 2 to 3 years relevant experience in cctv, alarms and surveillance networks.
• must have knowledge of installation, fault diagnostics and configuration of cctv, alarms and surveillance networks.
• basic knowledge of electricity and indigo vision systems.
• sound communication- and basic computer skills.
• valid drivers licence.
• medical fit for both plants (pmr and bmr)

duties and responsibilities:

• assist with the installation and maintenance of cctv, alarms and networking equipment.
• assist with the configuration of cameras, alarms and network equipment.
• assist with daily inspections to ensure that security systems are in good working condition.
• establish effective working relationships with other technicians within implats and externally to enhance communication of new technologies in the industry and market.
• assist in deploying preventative maintenance plans strategically in accordance with faults and per requests.
• assist in managing maintenance stock and consumables.
• assist in downloading and uploading applicable software.
