** About the Role**## This Apprentice position is a developmental opportunity designed for individuals with little to no prior experience in this role or our industry. The role provides hands-on training and mentorship to build foundational skills, with the goal of preparing the apprentice for certification and long-term success in the field.## ##
** What You’ll Be Doing*** ## Assist with inspection, maintenance, and repair of heavy diesel equipment and mobile machinery* ## Learn to diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues under the guidance of experienced mechanics* ## Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and safety* ## Safely utilize tools, diagnostic equipment, and shop systems in compliance with company procedures* ## Maintain accurate maintenance records and contribute to a safe, organized work area##
** What Are We Looking For*** ## Demonstrated interest in heavy diesel mechanics, equipment maintenance, or a related skilled trade* ## Ability to learn technical concepts and apply problem‑solving skills in a hands‑on environment* ## Strong attention to safety, quality, and following established procedures* ## Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others* ## Capability to perform physical work, including lifting and working around heavy equipment* ## Willingness and ability to learn technical procedures and pursue certification##

** Work Environment*** ## Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.##
