Description: W&M Sprinkler Co., Inc. seeks qualified applicants for the Sprinkler Inspector position. Inspectors perform fire inspections on Wet and Dry systems, Pre-Action and Deluge, Fire, Standpipe Systems, and Backflow devices. Responsibilities include excellent customer service, quality work, and equipment maintenance.

• Provide high-level customer service through quality service, knowledge, and training.
• Complete inspection reports accurately and on time.
• Review inspection results with the customer.
• Maintain equipment and supplies in good working order.
• Stay current with NFPA 25 and relevant code requirements.
• Coordinate closely with the Inspection Coordinator and Service Manager to meet scheduled work commitments.

Minimum qualifications include:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in fire sprinkler inspection.
• Basic to moderate computer skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid NICET certification and/or FDNY S12/S13/S14 certificates, NYS Backflow Testing License, and a Private Fire Service Class C License are preferred.
• Willingness to work throughout the five boroughs of New York.

Pay is commensurate with experience and education.
