This is a full-time, on-site position based in the New York City Metropolitan Area for a Sheet Metal Worker. Responsibilities include measuring, cutting, and assembling sheet metal components as well as installing, fabricating, and repairing metal roofing, fixtures, and other structures. The role requires the use of hand tools, machinery, and welding to shape and secure metal materials.
Qualifications- Proficiency in using hand tools and basic knowledge of metalworking processes
- Experience with welding and working with sheet metal - especially copper
- Understanding of working with specialty materials such as copper
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks and work in different weather conditions
- Previous experience in restoration work or construction is a plus
