Walking Pest Control Technician

$18.00 - $21.00 per hour

We are recruiting for a Pest Control Technician to perform services on a subway route from Brooklyn to Manhattan
.

• Complete company-paid training and learn the skills required to be responsible for the daily operation of a pest control service route.
• Determine the kind of treatment required to eliminate a particular type of pest.
• Apply treatments according to schedule, safety procedures, and label instructions.
• Properly operate and maintain all necessary tools & equipment assigned to the route.
• Communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction and discuss additional services that meet customer needs for a complete pest management program.
• Serve as a problem solver for your customer to decide on the most efficient and best overall pest solution for each customer s needs.
• Complete all required service-related documentation and leverage your hand-held device provided for speed and accuracy.
• Prepare, input, and maintain written and electronic correspondence and data using both paper and cellphone software upon completion of any service.
• Call customers to confirm scheduled services.
• Communicate with office staff as necessary regarding the job.

• $18 to $21
  * per hour, depending on experience and licensing, plus overtime.

* Starting pay ranges from $18–21/hr, depending on your experience. After your first 90 days, you ll be eligible to take a company-paid training course and certification exam designed to help you grow your skills and advance in your career. • Ability to work in the field independently, manage route-based assignments, and interact with our customers.

Candidates must meet physical job requirements and safely perform the job duties with or without accommodations:

• Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer s weight capacity.
• Lift and carry up to 50lbs.
• Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, roof tops, etc., including the ability to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), which sometimes requires an OSHA-compliant respirator.
• Willing to work in different types of weather conditions.
