This is a full‑time, on‑site role located in the New York City Metropolitan Area for a Field Technician. The Field Technician will perform installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of A+ Mobile Solutions' equipment and systems. Daily tasks will include assembling and configuring technology carts, performing repairs, installing software updates, and providing technical assistance to clients. The Field Technician will also ensure all systems meet quality and safety standards, and may assist in training staff or educators on the use of A+ technology solutions.
Qualifications- Proficiency in hardware installation, assembly, troubleshooting, and maintenance
- Understanding of networking, software installation, configuration, and performing updates
- Experience providing technical support and training to users
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively at client sites
- Background in education or STEM fields is a plus
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the New York City Metropolitan Area
- Additional travel and onsite days at our office in Bay Shore, Long Island, NY.
- Net Suite, Acronis, Microsoft Teams and Google administration experience a plus.
- Follow service tickets through to completion.
- Must be able to move and lift 50lbs.
- Lab building, imaging, configuration, QA testing, shipping and warehouse assistance as needed.
