Plumber Mechanic - Service Technician

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Plumber Mechanic to perform residential and commercial service calls throughout Brooklyn, NY. The ideal candidate is skilled in diagnosing, repairing, and installing plumbing systems and equipment, with a strong focus on customer service and quality workmanship.

• Perform plumbing service calls, including troubleshooting and repairs.
• Diagnose and repair leaks, clogs, and sewer backups.
• Install, repair, and service water heaters (gas and electric).
• Service and install boilers and hydronic heating systems.
• Install, repair, and modify piping systems (water, waste, and vent).
• Install and service sewer ejector pumps and related systems.
• Perform new installations and plumbing upgrades as needed.
• Ensure all work complies with NYC plumbing codes and safety standards.
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding repairs and recommendations.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and properly document work performed.

• Proven experience as a plumber mechanic or service plumber.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and materials.
• Ability to independently diagnose and resolve plumbing issues.
• Familiarity with NYC plumbing codes and regulations.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and customer-service skills.
