Responsibilities
Help Keep Our Community Running Smoothly
We’re looking for a hands‑on Maintenance Technician to join our team and help keep our building in top shape. In this role ҡатын you’ll handle repairs, prepare apartments for new residents, and support our team with everything from HVAC fixes to setting up special projects. This is a multi‑site position, splitting 않았 between 456 Washington and Westminster.
- Complete work orders and handle day‑to‑day repairs in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry and appliance systems
- Keep building systems clean, code‑compliant and well‑maintained
- Get apartments ready for move‑ins and move‑outs
- Complete repairs, touch‑ups, lock changes and inspections to ensure units are move‑in ready
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and safety checks
- Track recurring issues and ensure all systems run safely and efficiently
- Follow and model safety protocols
- Maintain inventory, tools and storage spaces
- Clean and inspect shared spaces such as gyms, rooftops, pools and basements
- Make smart decisions when choosing between repairing or replacing equipment
- Respond quickly and professionally to service requests
- Cover for the Resident Manager when needed and assist with walkthroughs
- Mentor junior maintenance team members and foster a strong team environment
- Than support renovations, new tool testing and energy‑saving projects
- Help install and maintain new technology such as leak sensors or smart thermostats
- Represent the building with a clean, professional appearance
- Communicate clearly with residents and follow up after repairs
- Provide in‑unit orientations and support a high standard of service
- Friday through Tuesday (Off Wednesday & Thursday)
- Work shift will include 9 am – 5:30 pm and 11 am – 7:30 pm shifts
Compensation: $32.60 Per Hour
What You Bring:
- Experience with general maintenance and repairs (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, etc.)
- Strong problem‑solving skills and a team‑first mindset
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet throughout the day
- High school diploma or equivalent
- HVAC certification is a plus (may be required at some properties)
- Comfortable using digital maintenance tracking systems
