Job Title: Underground Utility Skilled Laborer

Salary: $45+ per hour

Location: Based in Staten Island, NY with active work in Queens and Brooklyn, NY

• Perform manual labor tasks, including digging, lifting, carrying materials, and site clean‑up.
• Assist with utility and site work, including trenching, grading, and excavation.
• Operate basic hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Work in confined spaces as required for specific job sites.
• Follow all OSHA and NYC DOB safety regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
• Load and unload construction materials and equipment.
• Assist skilled tradespeople (e.g., operators, carpenters, and foremen) as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site to prevent hazards.
• Attend safety meetings and training sessions as required.

• Proven experience in civil construction, including underground utility installation (sewer and water mains), or concrete curb, sidewalk, and asphalt work.
• Must have OSHA 30, NYC DOB 40‑Hour SST, and 4‑Hour Confined Space certifications.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and perform physical labor.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
• Strong commitment to safety and following job site protocols.
• Willingness to work overtime or weekends as needed to meet project deadlines.

• 6 month probationary period for non‑union members for benefits
• $45 per hour + prevailing wage projects
