SFE Engineering is looking for a dedicated Building Maintenance Technician at Flushing, NY
. This full‑time, on‑site position offers an excellent opportunity for entry‑level professionals to gain hands‑on experience in building operations and maintenance.

• Perform routine inspections of buildings and building systems
• Carry out basic plumbing work, including drilling holes on steam pipes, creating tappings, installing air vents, and replacing steam traps
• Perform basic concrete and masonry work such as crack repairs, brick replacement, and minor patching
• Conduct basic inspections and read schematic diagrams and construction drawings
• Ensure all work complies with safety requirements and applicable building regulations
• Work collaboratively with team members to complete maintenance and repair projects efficiently
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests when needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times

• Basic knowledge of building maintenance practices
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills
• Familiarity with hand and power tools is a plus
• Understanding of safety protocols and regulations

Flushing, NY – $24.00–$26.00 per hour (entry‑level). Full‑time, on‑site.
