Field Service Technician

RSP Systems is the exclusive distributor of Capstone Turbine for the Greater NY Region including Metro NY, Long Island, Westchester County, and the State of Connecticut. Our mission is to help customers reduce their overall energy usage while enhancing their facilities' resilience during grid outages. We provide reliable and secure power systems tailored to clients' business needs, ensuring cost‑effective solutions and successful integration into their business plans.

This full‑time remote role is for a Field Service Technician. The day‑to‑day tasks include installing, maintaining, and repairing Capstone Turbine systems, providing technical support and troubleshooting, conducting preventative maintenance, and ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards and procedures. The technician will also work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service support.

• Technical skills in electrical and mechanical systems
• Experience in installation, maintenance, and repair of power systems
• Troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Knowledge of safety standards and procedures
• Experience in the energy sector is a plus
• Relevant technical certifications or a degree in a related field
• Driver's License (Required)
• OSHA 30 (Required) – training will be provided for qualified applicants

• Valid and clean driver’s license with a minimum of 3 years driving experience
• Willing to work overtime when necessary
• Minimum of 2‑3 years’ experience in Mechanical, Electrical, and Electronics troubleshooting
