Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dependable HVAC Journeyman to install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation and air conditioning, systems. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise, experience in commercial HVAC systems, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair HVAC systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and equipment manuals.
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure systems operate efficiently.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC systems.
• Install and repair related HVAC components.
• Test system performance using specialized tools and instruments.
• Ensure all work complies with local codes, safety standards, and company policies.
• Provide excellent customer service and explain work performed to clients.
• Train and mentor apprentices or junior technicians as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent.

Qualifications:

• Candidate must be EPA, OSHA G-60 and F-60 certified
• Previous experience in commercial HVAC systems

This position is for an In-house service technician, location 55 Hudson yard NYC. Hours are Tuesday-Friday 2:30 pm-10:30pm and Saturday 7:00am-3:00pm
