** Maintenance Mechanic
** in our
** Venlo office**.
** Department Overview:
** The Maintenance Mechanic Department in operations is responsible for keeping equipment, machinery, and facilities running safely and efficiently. They perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to minimize downtime, ensure compliance with safety standards, and support continuous operations.

* What You’ll Do:

*** Ensures daily operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatics, hydraulics, and all other conveyor system components; after a few months of training, you should be able to work independently
* Maintains building and installations according preventative plan. (inside and outside the building)
* To follow all maintenance safety programs, lock-out/tag-out, Fall Protection/work on height.
* Conduct daily system walks and identify potential issues;
* Manage the documentation of repairs, PMs and projects using IT systems;
* Performs general building maintenance including electrical, plumbing, and mechanical;
* Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations;
** You’ll Need to Have:
*** Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and PLC systems
* Basic computer skills;
* Proficient with manual and electric hand tools;
* Language English (Pre
- German or Dutch);
* Distribution center experience;
* Eager to develop technical skills;
* Troubleshooting experience;
* No fear for height;
* Willing to learn and extend technical knowledge;
* Periodical working in shifts.
