Pay Rate- $28.00–$30.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications (NOT flat‑rate)
- ASE incentive of $0.25 per hour for each relevant ASE obtained (training materials and exams are paid by First Student)

Monday‑Friday 7:00 am – 4:00 pm (full‑time shift)

As a technician at First Student, you will maintain the safety of our fleet of newer vehicles and use diagnostic skills to troubleshoot issues that require repair.
- Perform maintenance on brakes, suspensions, drive trains, and transmissions
- Complete work orders
- Assist with mobile emergency services
Mechanics and technicians are subject to DOT drug testing as safety‑sensitive employees. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including marijuana, for any reason.
Qualifications- 3+ years of experience working with automotive, diesel, electric, or CNG vehicles
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to obtain a CDL (training provided)
- Personal mechanic’s tool set
- Desire to grow, learn, and develop skills through ASE testing
- Ability to work in a position that meaningfully impacts the community
- Do not have a college degree
- Have military experience
- Are returning to the workforce
- Seek hourly (not flat‑rate) jobs
