PositionDuties & Responsibilities:
- Perform aircraft maintenance, repairs and inspections to aircraft, engines, and components for our Part 145 repair station
- Have an understanding of the procedures for the repair station, the use of the forms, tags and the required paperwork as outlined in Banyan Air Service's repair station manuals and FAA manuals
- Have the minimum required tools to perform the mechanic duties
- Demonstrate proficiency of the Banyan Air work order system
- Research maintenance task instruction guidance and parts required in manufacturer's maintenance manuals to perform the required tasks
- Identification or tagging of all aircraft components when removed from an aircraft undergoing maintenance or modification
- Protecting aircraft exteriors and interior prior to work commencement
- Ability to travel to and from other locations to conduct aircraft maintenance when necessary, example AOG
- A mindset of Safety First.
- Perform duties as assigned by Crew Leader or Manager
Education and Experience:
- High School graduate or equivalent required
- Airframe & Powerplant License and valid driver's license
- A minimum of 3 years' experience
- Strong working knowledge and understanding of the Federal Aviation Regulations and ability to understand manufacturers manuals
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work in hot and noisy environment
- Corporate turbine powered aircraft experience to include Gulfstream, Global, Challenger, Falcon, Hawker, Lear, Citation, King Air, Honda Jet and other types of corporate business jets.
- Avionics background a plus
