Diesel Technician – PT

Job Summary

As a Diesel Technician, you will provide accurate, efficient service to customers by diagnosing and repairing heavy‑duty trucks and trailers in a professional and accommodating manner. Our technicians ensure we return every traveler to the road better than they came.

Responsibilities
  • Work in a fun, trusting environment focused on exceeding customer expectations.
  • Have extensive knowledge of the products we sell and the services we provide.
  • Diagnose wear conditions and, together with a Tire Service Associate (TSA) or Manager, make recommendations to customers.
  • Complete repairs within your capabilities and as written in repair documents.
  • Understand Truck Service Standard Services and specialized customer programs.
  • Follow safety guidelines and report potentially unsafe situations caused by team members and/or customers.
Qualifications
  • Dedicated individual who works well with others and is excited to be part of our team.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Previous experience in a repair or parts shop (preferred).
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and some holidays, in interior and exterior conditions.
  • A valid driver’s license.

Pay

$19.00 – $20.40 per hour. Pay depends on responsibilities, job duties, requirements, and relevant experience and skills.

Typical Physical Demands
