Artcraft Home Improvements is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Roof Installer to join our growing residential roofing team. In this full-time, on-site role, you’ll be responsible for the hands-on installation of asphalt shingle, metal, and EPDM rubber roofing systems. You’ll work with skilled teammates to remove existing roofs, rebuild roof structures when needed, and deliver watertight roofing systems that protect homes and enhance curb appeal.

• Safely remove old roofing materials, including asphalt shingles and underlayment.
• Rebuild or repair damaged roof structures such as rafters or decking as needed.
• Install new roofing systems, including asphalt shingles, standing seam metal, and EPDM rubber membranes.
• Follow detailed instructions and measurements using tape measures, levels, and layout tools.
• Use hand and power tools effectively, including roofing nailers and shingle cutters.
• Install roofing components such as skylights, Skytubes, and exhaust vents (training provided).
• Maintain clean, organized, and OSHA‑compliant job sites.
• Support the crew in meeting project timelines and quality standards.

• Minimum 2 years of experience installing asphalt shingles.
• At least 1 year of experience with metal or EPDM roofing preferred — willing to train qualified candidates.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools in a construction setting.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record required.
• Ability to pass a background check, in compliance with applicable laws.
• Able to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Dependable, safety‑conscious, and team‑oriented.

Full‑Time — Monday to Friday

Year round work

Typical work hours:
Day shift, with occasional weekend availability during peak seasons.

All work is performed on‑site at residential properties in Tompkins Cortland County and surrounding service areas.
