Job OverviewTerry Marine is looking for a motivated and adaptable Dockbuilder to join our growing field operations team. In this hands‑on role, you'll work on a variety of marine construction projects including dock installations, steel fabrication, and general shoreline structures. Ideal candidates will have a background in construction trades‑carpentry, masonry, welding‑or experience operating equipment and work skiffs, but above all, we’re looking for someone eager to work hard, learn quickly, and thrive on a team.

Key Responsibilities- Assist with construction and installation of docks and marine structures
- Perform heavy steel fabrication, rigging, cutting, and assembly.
- Operate power tools and assist with carpentry, concrete, and other jobsite tasks
- Work alongside machine operators and step into operating roles as needed (if trained)
- Torch cutting and basic welding support (training available if needed)
- Collaborate with a team to meet daily construction goals and adapt to changing priorities
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with company safety policies
- 4+ years of construction or dock building experience preferred
- Hands‑on skills in any of the following are helpful:
Masonry, Equipment Operation, Welding or Torch Cutting - High school diploma or GED preferred
- Strong work ethic and team‑first mindset
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt on the job Physically able to work outdoors in variable conditions and lift heavy materials
- Must pass a background check as part of the onboarding process, in compliance with applicable laws
