Role SummaryThis full‑time, on‑site Diesel Mechanic position is located in Norwalk, CT. The mechanic will maintain and repair DPV’s diverse fleet, performing routine and preventive maintenance, diagnosing mechanical issues, and ensuring vehicle safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on a fleet of diesel vehicles.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical problems to keep vehicles operating safely.
- Ensure adherence to preventive maintenance schedules and safety standards.
- Work independently and collaboratively with the maintenance team.
- Vehicle Maintenance and Equipment Maintenance skills.
- Experience with Diesel Mechanics and Heavy Equipment.
- Knowledge of Preventive Maintenance practices.
- Strong problem‑solving and diagnostic abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in fleet maintenance is a plus.
- Relevant certifications and training as a Diesel Mechanic.
- Commitment to safety and high‑quality work standards.
