Position OverviewThe Service Technician travels to customer locations to install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot pumps and fans in industrial, commercial, and residential settings. You will diagnose and resolve on-site issues to keep operations running smoothly and reliably for our customers.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities- Installation:
Install new pumps and fans per manufacturer specifications and industry standards, including piping, fittings, electrical connections, and related components. - Maintenance:
Perform routine maintenance on pumps and fans to prevent breakdowns, including inspection, lubrication, cleaning, parts replacement, and testing. - Repair:
Diagnose and repair malfunctioning pumps and fans, troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues to restore functionality. - Calibration:
Calibrate equipment to required specifications, adjust settings, replace sensors, and verify performance. - Documentation:
Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records, update logs, prepare service reports, and capture photos for tracking.
- Hands-on mechanical/technical experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Clean and valid driver’s license
- Strong technical, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and testing equipment
- Proven track record of customer satisfaction
- Willingness to work overtime as needed, including evenings and weekends
- Adhere to company safety protocols and industry standards
- Comply with regulations (e.g., OSHA) and use appropriate PPE
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs
- Stamina to stand, kneel, crouch, and bend for extended periods
- Capable of working in confined spaces and at heights with proper safety procedures
- Willingness to work in various environmental conditions (heat, cold, etc.)
