Massapequa Center
is seeking experienced handyman/maintenance assistant. We are seeking for qualified candidates with experience in carpentry, flooring installation and plumbing. Must have previous experience doing light electrical work and HVAC repairs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and light repairs
- Paint and fill gaps.
- Carpentry skills (installation/finish work)
- Repair equipment or appliances
- Assist tradespeople with electrical, plumbing or HVAC repairs
- Identify and report maintenance issues
- Ability to work effectively individually and as a team member.
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Prior experience working in a healthcare setting (nursing home, assisted living, hospital, etc.) preferred.
