Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Driver

This driving post requires a valid driver’s license under Allied Universal driver policy requirements. You will communicate clearly, support riders and staff with professional customer service, and contribute to a caring, integrity-driven team that is agile, reliable, and innovative.

• Provide customer service to passengers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations with calm, problem-solving approaches; report concerns, document activity, and escalate to appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of bus bays, platforms, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter; understand that environments may vary by post.
• Monitor access points and public areas, observe unusual activity, and deter disorderly conduct through high-visibility presence and professional communication.
• Complete detailed shift reports and incident documentation; maintain communication with dispatch/site contacts and assist with coordinating responses with local public agencies when needed.

• Minimum of 6 months of security-related experience.
• Valid driver’s license required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Age: 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation as required by federal, state, and local laws.

• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
