Overview

Job Title : Lead Software Engineer/Senior Forge Rock IAM Engineer (With Java Focus)

Location : NYC, NY

Engagement : Contract

Primary Skill : Forge Rock IAM, Directory services

• Policy Engineering:
  Design and implement complex Authentication Trees and Authorization Policies within Forge Rock Access Management (AM).
• Gateway Integration:
  Configure and manage Forge Rock Identity Gateway (IG) to protect APIs and web applications using filters, handlers, and custom Java extensions.
• Directory Management:
  Optimize and maintain Forge Rock Directory Services (DS), ensuring high availability, data consistency, and secure LDAP configurations.
• Custom Development:
  Write high-quality Java code to develop custom Auth Nodes, Post-Authentication Modules, and specialized scripts for the Forge Rock ecosystem.
• Security Enforcement:
  Implement modern security protocols including OAuth2, OIDC, and SAML 2.0 to ensure seamless and secure user journeys.

• Deep expertise in Forge Rock IAM (Access Management), DS (Directory Services), and IG (Identity Gateway).
• Strong Java development background for building custom authentication nodes, scripts, and plugins.
• Experience with Forge Rock components: AM, DS, IG.
• Knowledge of modern security protocols such as OAuth2, OIDC, and SAML 2.0.
• Familiarity with Agile development practices (daily scrum, weekly iteration reviews and planning).
• Knowledge of Dev Ops practices (CI/CD pipelines).
