Our client is a leading software product company that is looking for a motivated Implementation Engineer to onboard customers into our Managed Services platform. This individual needs to be detail oriented and possess exceptional organizational skills. Additionally, this candidate should have the ability to manage a dynamic case load, including the ability to effectively work on multiple projects simultaneously. This is an opportunity to join a dynamic team of experienced professionals who are developing disruptive data sharing and API products in the open Financial Data space – we are connecting financial institutions to business support tools, as well as personal finance applications and data aggregators.

• Operate in an innovative startup environment as a key part of a highly skilled and experienced product engineering team
• Work closely Product Management and leadership
• Engage in all aspects of the engineering of the product, e.g., monitoring, security, performance etc.
• Interface with our Sales and Customer Success organizations to plan and implement a company installation according to the sales contract and Solution Design documents
• Gather information from customer environments on server and network infrastructure and applications
• Work with a customer's data engineering team to create data ingestion pipelines into our Platform
• Install agents on servers for our monitoring system
• Document customer environments and import into our systems
• Take a proactive approach in improving turn-ups, documentation and methodologies via automation and scripting
• Analyze and troubleshoot problems with customer data or clusters, in conjunction with Support
• Interact with customers during turn-up process as needed
• Advocate customer needs and feedback internally to inform product vision and roadmap.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering (or equivalent work experience)
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Proficiency in Core Java programming language
• 5+ years as a Solution Engineer (preferred), Implementation Consultant, or Support Engineer or Software Developer with experience leading projects and/or working with customer
• Passion for working with customers and delivering solutions
• Excellent communication skills, written and presentation
• Ability to prioritize and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver the maximum value to customers
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Availability to travel up to 25% within the US

• Basic SQL experience
• Experience with Reactive, Docker, Kubernetes and/or Vert.x
• Financial product development experience is preferred
• Experience with data analytics to provide business insights
• Experience collaborating with project managers internally and externally
• Knowledge of cloud architecture and deployments
• Consulting experience in the software industry
• Experience with Project Management and planning
• Security framework knowledge e.g., OAuth 2.0
