Location: New York
Allied Universal - - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities;
Conduct regular and random foot patrols of academic buildings, residence areas, and surrounding grounds to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations;
Monitor access points and common areas, assist with directions and campus-related questions, and report maintenance hazards, suspicious behavior, and/or policy concerns through approved channels;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with campus contacts and/or local responders as directed;
Document patrol activities, incidents, and observations in written reports and/or electronic systems in accordance with post orders and site requirements
