Learn more:  As an unarmed patrol officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help deter security-related incidents.

You will communicate clearly with site teams, document observations, and provide helpful customer service to drivers, associates, and visitors. At Allied Universal, you will work with an agile, reliable, innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility, exterior perimeter, parking areas, and trailer or dock zones to help deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
• Monitor access points and shipping and receiving traffic flow, verifying identification, directing drivers and visitors, and documenting entries, exits, and unusual activity per site requirements.
• Complete detailed reports and logs, communicate observations to supervisors and client representatives, and assist with package and/or asset loss prevention measures as outlined in post orders.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
