Title:Security Officer – PT University Rover
Location: New York, NY
Position Type: Part Time
Pay Rate: $20.40 per Hour
Job Schedule- Wed 04:00 PM – 12:00 AM
- Thu 04:00 PM – 12:00 AM
- Sun 12:00 AM – 08:00 AM

- Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors following Allied Universal security procedures and site policies.
- Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of academic buildings and perimeters, reporting unusual activity and hazards.
- Monitor access points and interior spaces for policy compliance, assist with visitor direction, and coordinate access control.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and calls for assistance calmly, with de-escalation support and coordination with campus resources as needed.
- Complete daily activity logs and incident reports, communicate with site leadership/dispatch, and support investigations by preserving observations.
- 21+ years of age; or at least 18 for unarmed roles (21+ for armed).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Background investigation required.
- Drug screen if permitted by law.
- Qualified applications considered with criminal histories as consistent with applicable laws.
- Licensing requirements subject to state / local laws.
- Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
