Allied Universal - - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to residents, guests, staff, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a shelter location;
Respond to incidents, conflicts, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using de-escalation and clear communication while following post orders;
Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations;
Control access by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying authorization, managing visitor sign-in when required, and reporting irregularities to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision;
Document security-related observations, incidents, and patrol activity in written reports and/or electronic logs, and communicate timely updates during shift transitions
