** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
+ Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the location, including corridors, waiting areas, entrances, stairwells, and exterior perimeter areas as assigned.
+ Monitor access points and help maintain orderly entry by verifying credentials, directing visitors to appropriate check-in areas, and following visitor management procedures.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, suspicious activity, and requests for assistance from staff.
+ Observe and report conditions that may impact operations, such as blocked exits, unsecured doors, unattended items, and/or unauthorized persons in restricted areas.
+ Support a professional environment by using de-escalation techniques and clear communication to help resolve conflicts and/or disruptive behavior.
+ Operate and monitor security-related systems as assigned, such as alarms, cameras, and communications equipment, and notify appropriate personnel of issues.
+ Complete detailed, timely reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or policy violations in accordance with site requirements.
+ Coordinate with on-site leadership and local first responders during emergencies, including evacuations, medical events, and/or fire alarm activations, as directed by post orders.
+ Help to deter unauthorized activity by maintaining a visible presence, performing patrols, and following established procedures for addressing concerns.
+ Protect privacy and confidentiality by following applicable policies when handling sensitive information encountered during assigned duties.
+ Perform other duties as assigned by Allied Universal and site leadership in accordance with post orders.

* Minimum Requirements:
*
* + - Have 1+ years of security-related experience.
+ - Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
+ - Be 21+ years of age.
+ - Be able to lift more than 20 lbs, preferred.
+ - Have access control and/or badge experience, preferred.
+ - Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ - Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
