Security Officer - Corporate Locations

Overview

Maintain a strong and visible presence to ensure safety and security. Monitor and control access points, ensuring only authorized personnel enter designated areas. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting guests with directions, inquiries, and general assistance. Conduct routine patrols and inspections of the premises to detect and deter any suspicious or unauthorized activity. Respond promptly and effectively to incidents, emergencies, and alarms, following established protocols.

Collaborate with local law enforcement, emergency services, and other security personnel as needed. Document and report all incidents, observations, and actions taken during shifts. Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times, reflecting the values of our organization.

• Minimum of 1 year Security Officer experience – preferably in a commercial environment
• Valid NYS Security Guard License that will not expire for at least 3 months
• Valid F01/F03/F04, and CPR Certification a strong plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively
• Demonstrate customer service skills, including the ability to professionally handle difficult situations
• Familiarity with security systems, such as surveillance cameras, access control, and alarm systems
• Excellent observation and problem-solving abilities to identify potential security risks and take appropriate action
• Physical fitness and ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods, as well as lift and carry heavy objects when required
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Integrity, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility towards ensuring the safety and well-being of guests and staff
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional relevant certifications or training in security or guest services will be an advantage

Compensation: $18.00 per hour
