As a Security Officer - Industrial Patrol Full Time in East Syracuse, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and communication.

What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.

* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

* Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including both the interior and exterior perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.

* Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.

* Communicate clearly and promptly with team members, site personnel, and/or emergency responders as needed.

* Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials according to site guidelines.

* Support the enforcement of client policies and procedures throughout the location.

* Remain alert to potential security-related hazards or suspicious activities and report findings according to established protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

* A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.

* CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

* Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
