As a Security Officer - Media Site Patrol in New York, NY
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. You will monitor and patrol designated areas within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible, and support a welcoming environment.

Pay Rate: $22.65 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon – Fri: 08:00 AM – 04:00 PM

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with resolution as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns related to the location.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist visitors and employees by providing directions and answering questions about the location and its procedures.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and any security-related activities as required by Allied Universal and site management.

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
