Position Overview
This role delivers proactive, customized security services supporting productions, public-facing events, and talent-driven experiences worldwide. From premieres to live productions, the position ensures the safety of people, protection of assets, and seamless execution of events.
This New York City–based role functions as both a strategic advisor and hands‑on operator. The ideal candidate combines operational expertise with a service-oriented mindset, reducing risk while enabling creativity and high-impact experiences.
Responsibilities- Evaluate threats and develop security plans for events and experiences
- Build and maintain relationships with local, state, and federal law enforcement, emergency responders, and trusted security partners
- Provide immediate stabilization and leadership during security incidents
- Support productions and live projects regionally, as needed
- Design, implement, and oversee security strategies for events, productions, and talent-driven experiences
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to protect people, content, and assets
- Manage on‑site security operations, ensuring protection is discreet and effective
- Coordinate security logistics, staffing, and vendor partnerships
- Provide guidance and consultation to cross‑functional teams, fostering collaboration
- Stay current on industry best practices, emerging threats, and evolving security technologies
- 5+ years of relevant experience, including executive or close protection, intelligence, military, event security, or private‑sector security operations
- Experience analyzing and mitigating risk in complex or ambiguous environments
- Undergraduate degree preferred, ideally in security, intelligence, emergency management, or a related field
- Business‑fluent English; additional languages are a plus
- Proven background in event, talent, or production security, preferably within entertainment or live events
- Strong capabilities in risk assessment, operational planning, and crisis management
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure in fast‑changing environments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach
- Experience working with internal teams and external partners
- Willingness to travel and work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends
- Experience managing security, logistics, and operational workflows for live sports or large-scale live events
- Advanced expertise in assessing and mitigating risk across complex, high‑visibility environments
