Job Description
This is a standing post & driving post, with constant patrolling of the Terminal, Ramp, and Cargo Area. Responding to alarms that go off in these areas, questioning all personnel found and reporting suspicious activity back to base.
The Guard is responsible for securing the premises, preventing access by unauthorized individuals, directing customers, responding to security alarms, and maintaining security logs and incident reports.
Traffic Guard – This is a standing post with constant patrolling of the Terminal, Ramp, and Cargo Area. Must ensure that vehicles are never left unattended; if found, must be reported. Direct the flow of traffic; assist the public; identify parking violations. Issue tickets or take appropriate action to mitigate congestion and enforce local, state, and federal rules and regulations.
Escort Guard – This is a standing/walking position (5–10 mi) in which you will escort individuals from “Point A” to “Point B.” While escorting, maintain line of sight, stay with the person at all times, and communicate silently.
Alarm/Mobile Response – This is a standing post & driving post, with constant patrolling of the Terminal, Ramp, and Cargo Area, responding to alarms and providing mobile response as required.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Valid Driver License.
- NY Security Guard License.
- Customer Service Experience.
