As a Security Officer - Telecom Roving Patrol in New York, NY
, you will serve and safeguard clients across industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom. Part-Time, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic technology‑focused location. Your presence deters security‑related incidents while providing exceptional customer service and communication.

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures and following site‑specific policies, including appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, helping to maintain order.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify any unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe for any security‑related concerns, reporting observations promptly.
• Maintain detailed records and logs of activities, incidents, and security‑related events as required.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff to address questions and provide information related to site protocols.
• Support Allied Universal and client management by following all company and location‑specific procedures and protocols.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
