Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol Unarmed PT in New York, NY
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as healthcare and more. As a Part‑Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. In this role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, deter security incidents while providing a welcoming presence, conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and offer outstanding customer service and communication to everyone on site.

- Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, supporting staff, patients, and visitors as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrol degradates throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
- Observe and report any unusual activities or security‑related incidents to Allied Universal management and/or site leadership.
- Assist with access control by monitoring복 entrances, exits, and authorized areas within the healthcare location.
- Support emergency drills and respond to alarms or emergency calls according to established protocols.
- Maintain detailed accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and patrols as required by portfolio protocols.
- Provide visible presence to help deter unauthorized individuals and/or activities in and around the healthcare location.
- At least 2 years of security‑related experience is required.
- Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at lea 18? age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
