We're seeking a dedicated and professional Healthcare Security Officer to join our team in Mount Vernon, NY
. In this critical role, you'll help protect patients, staff, and visitors while ensuring a calm, safe, and secure healthcare environment.

Pay: $18.75 per hour

Post Type: Healthcare Facility - overnight shifts, patient/visitor interaction, facility patrols

This is not an entry-level position. At least 1 year of security experience is required.

• Patrol hospital grounds and monitor entry points
• Ensure the safety of staff, patients, and visitors throughout the facility
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergency calls calmly and professionally
• Enforce site policies and assist with visitor management
• Write detailed reports and maintain accurate incident records
• Support medical staff as needed during crisis or security-related situations

• Minimum of 1 year of security experience (required)
• Valid New York State Security Guard License (required)
• Must comply with current COVID-19 vaccination mandates
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Excellent communication, observation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm in high-pressure or emergency situations
• Must have reliable transportation to commute to Mount Vernon, NY
• Comfortable working overnight and weekend shifts
