Allied Universal is seeking Security Professionals to oversee a commercial medical facility located in Midtown Manhattan. The role involves patrol duties, access control, CCTV monitoring, report writing, and responding to emergencies.

• Pay Rate: $17.00 / hour

• Perform security patrols on foot or vehicle throughout hospital grounds and document observations of unusual conditions.
• Assist hospital staff with de‑escalation of patients and restrain combative individuals as needed.
• Transport patients to the morgue or escort from helicopter pad to emergency room.
• Assist in evacuations during fires, medical emergencies, and natural disasters.
• Sound alarms and contact police or fire department if necessary.
• Warn violators of rule infractions (loitering, smoking, forbidden articles).
• Permit authorized persons to enter and monitor entrances/exits, ensuring no contraband enters.
• Observe departing personnel to protect company property and ensure authorized removal.
• Investigate and prepare written reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current driver’s license if operating a company or customer‑owned vehicle.
• 2+ years verifiable employment in customer service or protective services (security, healthcare, military, law enforcement, corrections).
• Minimum age 18 (or higher if state requires).
• Ability to operate radio/telephone equipment or console monitors.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Problem‑solving and active‑listening abilities.
• Ability to assess situations, identify critical issues quickly and accurately.
• Conflict mediation skills with tact and diplomacy.
• Detail‑oriented written reporting.

• Military service related to law enforcement or security (e.g., military police, combat arms).
• Graduated from certified public safety academy or verified work experience in law enforcement, adult corrections, or firefighting.
• Bachelor’s degree in law enforcement or criminal justice.
• Minimum 8 years of military service.
• Associate’s degree in law enforcement or criminal justice with active or prior military service.
