Position SummaryThe Department of Surgery is seeking a Part Time Research Associate. The primary role will be to enhance an existing cardiac surgical video analysis pipeline by expanding anatomy recognition models to support AI-assisted surgery.
Responsibilities- Maintain and augment the existing pipeline of surgical video analysis modules
- Develop a pipeline using Segment Anything 2 for semi-automated anatomy segmentation
- Aiding other module development relating to AI-assisted cardiac surgery
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience with deep learning projects, Pytorch familiarity
- Currently enrolled in a graduate or PhD program
- Intermediate coding experience in Python
